Master Bedroom
The Master Bedroom features a deck-style balcony on two sides, with steps that lead down to a riverside bale relaxation pavilion. The bedroom is notable for the Buddha head and soft panels behind the double bed, flanked by two polished solid wood tree trunks, lit with discreet lighting. There is also a desk, and a dressing area with a huge mirror and a padded ottoman. The bathroom and outdoor Jacuzzi is accessed by a covered walkway with wooden pillars and spring water ponds on either side. The Jacuzzi rests within a thatched pavilion, surrounded by flowering shrubs and overlooking the river. The bathroom features arched open doorways, comfortable furnishings, twin washbasins, a toilet, and a shower big enough for two.

Bedrooms 1, 2, 3 & 4
The bedrooms and their adjoining garden bathrooms are all located in self contained thatched pavilions. Bedrooms 1 & 2 are linked by an open corridor sheltered by a roof. A living tree has been preserved and grows straight through the roof of the corridor, in front of which is a wooden balcony-style deck, complete with a built-in daybed overlooking the river and the beautiful temple on the opposite side.

The villa comprises five ensuite bedrooms. The master bedroom faces the sea and connects via a bridge to a separate bathing pavilion surrounded by a quiet pond. There is one other ocean-facing bedroom while a third connects to a private garden with a massage pavilion (built for two) and an outdoor shower. Set in the midst of a huge lily pond, the other two bedrooms make up a two story structure. Upstairs provides expansive views out to sea while downstairs doubles as a study/media room.. In addition, Ombak Luwung provides a separate air-conditioned dining pavilion and a large open-air living room in the traditional wantilan design that looks out to the 17 meter, infinity-edge swimming pool, heated spa and, finally, the incredible sea view. The air-conditioned Master Suite features a warm timber floor and sliding glass doors on three sides under a high roof. The modern furnishings include a king-size four poster bed, a couch and a desk and chair.
A flat screen TV with DVD is hidden within a rising cabinet that appears at the press of a button. This bedroom is complemented by a spacious timber balcony, which looks across the river to the rice terraces beyond. Here, two cushioned daybeds provide the facility for complete relaxation.

A dressing area and wardrobes (complete with a safe deposit box) are built in behind the bed and linked to the en-suite air-conditioned bathroom, which features a black terrazzo floor and twin washbasins upon a central vanity unit with two mirrors. The master bedroom features teak-wood floors and sliding glass doors, which open on to an outdoor verandah furnished with daybeds and rattan chairs. Guests will be lulled to sleep by the constant murmur of the waves in an antique four-poster bed complete with diaphanous drapes. Each romantic garden bathroom is walled for privacy and is characterised an open-air shower, whimsical stone carvings and an impressive array of tropical plants and shrubs. The bathrooms adjoining the master bedroom and the two main guestrooms each have a large bathtub that is protected from the elements by a thatched roof. Following the symmetrical theme, the two guest pavilions are mirror images of each other, each one a self-contained pavilion with teak floors, sliding glass doors, a canopied bed, an open verandah, and a cream terrazzo bathroom suite within a pretty garden bathroom planted with peace lilies. The remaining two bedrooms, and their adjoining bathrooms, are located on the ground floor of the main building; each room is furnished with antique twin trundle beds, making them ideal for children.

Another large lawn to the north of the main building makes a great play area and is suitable for badminton or volley ball. A door in the wall leads to the villa’s shared tennis court, and the staff quarters are situated near the main entrance. The beach is just a few metres away from the property, bordered by a track and a low cliff, and easily accessible. The currents are strong, however, and swimming is not recommended.

Villa Tamu Seseh is a one-bedroom villa comprised of a semi-open air living and dining pavilion leading into a bedroom complete with an en-suite garden bathroom. The villa also boasts an elevated relaxation pavilion and a swimming pool.

The villa is entered via a set of double antique doors leading from a small courtyard. Here, two Balinese statues rest in a serene lotus pond, with three trickling water spouts.

The living and dining pavilion is open on three sides and features a soaring ‘alang alang’ thatched roof supported by coconut wood pillars above a cream terrazzo floor. Ceiling fans and gentle breezes keep this area cool; it is tastefully furnished with a cushioned sofa, chairs, and a circular table created from a mosaic of white coconut shell. The pavilion also integrates an open-plan kitchenette, for the use of the guests on those occasions when they might not require waiter/waitress service from the main Tamu Seseh service-kitchen. The kitchenette is located behind a terrazzo bar and is complete with a gas hob, fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle, crockery and cutlery. Inside the fitted cupboards, guests will also find a stereo CD/cassette player.

Villa Staff
• One full-time house manager. Oversees and co-ordinates the staff and property and is available to assist guests during their stay.
• Two cooks. Trained in the preparation of both local and international cuisine. A menu is provided and the staff will do all the market shopping.
• Three Housekeepers. Responsible for housekeeping duties, waitress service around the villa and garden, and taking care of daily laundry
• Three security guards. Duties are to guard the complex 24 hours a day to ensure the security of the guests.
• Two Gardener. Tending the garden and the grounds of the villas, and cleaning and maintaining the swimming pools.
